The present contempt petition has been filed for deliberate and intentional disobedience of order dated 01.08.2022 passed by this Court in CWP-16641-2022.

This Court had issued the following directions in CWP-166412022, vide its order dated 01.08.2022:- "Meanwhile, 75% of the central assistance received shall be paid to the dealers."

Gurkirat Kirpal Singh, Secretary to Government of Punjab, Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs and additional affidavit dated VIRENDRA SINGH ADHIKARI 2025.09.26 10:21 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

COCP-2195-2023 (O&M) -224.07.2025 of Sh. Varinder Kumar Sharma, IAS, Secretary-cum-Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Punjab, have been filed on behalf of respondents No.1 and 2, respectively, before the Registry. The same are taken on record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the order dated 01.08.2022 passed by this Court in CWP-16641-2022 has been complied with.

In view of the above, since the order dated 01.08.2022 passed by this Court in CWP-16641-2022, has already been complied with, therefore, the present contempt is purged and rule stands discharged. 6.
