(Oral) Petition herein is, inter alia, seeking a writ in the nature of Mandamus, for directing the official respondents to conduct a fair, impartial and time bound enquiry into the allegations against the elected Members of the Panchayat Samiti, as regards the alleged financial irregularities, manipulation of official records and misuse of official position etc. 2.

Mr. Abhimanyu Antil, DAG, Haryana, appears on behalf of the respondents-State, in pursuance of the advance copy of paper book having already been supplied to him and on instructions from Mr. Stalin Sachdeva, BDPO, submits that presently the matter is pending consideration before the concerned Deputy Commissioner. He further submits that the matter is being looked into and the same would be taken to its logical end within a period of three months from today after affording due opportunity of hearing to all the concerned parties, in accordance with law.
