(ORAL) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 378 dated 23.06.2021 registered under Section 506 IPC and Sections 6 and 8 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 at Police Station Mujesar, District Faridabad.

Learned counsel for the State has filed custody certificate dated 05.08.2023, which is taken on record, as per which the petitioner has been in custody as an undertrial for a period of 02 years, 01 month and 11 days.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition.

Permitted to do so.
