JASWANT SINGH, J. (ORAL) The petitioner is stated to have been appointed as Senior Assistant in the office of Deputy Commissioner, Ferozepur on 26.09.2001. Upon Fazilka having been carved out as a separate district in July, 2011, the petitioner was transferred and assigned newly created District of Fazilka. One Manjit Singh Aulakh, who remained in District Ferozepur has been promoted from the rank of Senior Assistant to Superintendent Grade-II (Revenue). It is claimed that he was junior to the petitioner. However, it is not explained as to how his promotion in a different district and cadre would have any bearing on the claim of the petitioner for promotion in District Fazilka.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for permission to withdraw the present petition and file a fresh one with better particulars, if so, advised.
