SURYA KANT, J.(ORAL) The case of the petitioners is that their land was acquired by State of Haryana for construction of Sewerage Disposal Works adjoining Sector 20, Panchkula vide Award dated 24.06.1997. The petitioners, thus, claim to fall in the category of 'Oustees' and sought allotment of plots under the 'Oustees Policy'. They are said to have approached HUDA Authorities many a times including vide application dated 17.10.2013 alongwith requisite earnest money of `50,000/- in favour of Estate Officer, HUDA, Panchkula. The grievance in the instant writ petition is that no decision is being taken in respect of their claim, though they also served HUDA authorities with a Legal Notice dated 21.05.2018 (Annexure P-3).

[2] Having heard learned counsel for the petitioners and keeping in view the averments made in the writ petition but without expressing any views on the merits of their claim, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to decide petitioners' claim regarding allotment MEENU 2018.09.
