Learned counsel for the petitioners places reliance upon decision rendered by this Court in CWP-30723-2025, titled as "Dilawar Singh and others vs. Union of India and others" decided on 27.11.2025. The relevant paragraphs 4 and 4.1 thereof are extracted hereunder:- "4.
Since, the incorrect Khasra number bearing 11//6/2 has been mentioned in the award dated 25.07.2011 (Annexure P-5) passed by the learned Arbitrator-cum-Commissioner, Jalandhar Division based on a bonafide typographical error made by the petitioners-landowners in their arbitration reference, the same needs to be corrected by the learned Arbitrator only. As such, learned counsel for the petitioners wishes to withdraw the present petition to approach the learned Arbitrator by moving an appropriate application invoking Order 6 Rule 17 CPC read with Section 151/152 CPC.
4.1 In case, any such application is filed before the learned Arbitrator by the petitioners within three weeks from today, the same be finally decided within two months thereafter."
