The petitioner through instant petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondent Nos.2 & 4 to take action against private respondents who have forcibly harvested wheat crop on 02.05.2026 with the help of respondent No.5-Ranjit Singh, Station House Office, Police Station Chohla Sahib, District Tarn Taran. He is also seeking direction to respondent Nos.2 & 4 to recover wheat crop from the private respondents and to register an FIR against them as well as to take action against respondent No.5. He is also seeking direction to respondents No.2 to 4 to provide police protection to him to enable him to cultivate his land and plant paddy crop in the upcoming season.

The petitioner is a septuagenarian engaged in the activities of agriculture. The petitioner filed Civil Suit in the year 2014 before learned Additional Civil Judge, Tarn Taran restraining Bhagwan Kaur W/o Teja Singh along with others from interfering in his possession being the co-owner. He alleged that the defendants in the Civil Suit are attempting to
-2grab the land without getting it partitioned. Learned Additional Civil Judge, Tarn Taran vide judgment and decree dated 13.05.2014 partly decreed in the favour of petitioner and respondent No.6. He filed appeal against the judgment and decree dated 13.05.2014 before learned District Judge, Tarn Taran who upheld the decision of learned Additional Civil Judge, Tarn Taran. He approached this Court by way RSA No.1652 of 2016 assailing the aforementioned judgements. This Court vide order dated 22.04.2016 ordered to maintain status quo qua the subject land. He approached this Court assailing action of respondent No.6 by way of COCP No.464 of 2017 which is pending adjudication. He filed CRM-M-55310-2025 assailing action of respondents in creating hurdle in cultivation of land. The said petition vide order dated 30.09.
2025 was disposed of with a direction to the respondentauthorities to decide his representation and pursuant to which FIR No.118 dated 28.11.2025 under Sections 329(3), 351(2) BNS at Police Station Chohla Sahib, District Taran Taran was lodged against the accused. The petitioner again approached this Court by way of CRWP No.3577 of 2026 assailing the action of respondents in not allowing him to harvest his crop. The said petition was disposed of vide order dated 02.04.2026 with the direction to the respondent authorities to address his grievance. He preferred a spate of representations to the authorities seeking protection of his life and liberty at the hands of the private respondents but to no avail. The private respondents on 02.05.2026 have forcibly harvested wheat crop with the help of respondent No.
5-Ranjit Singh, Station House Officer, Police Station Chohla Sahib, District Tarn Taran.

The petitioner has already filed RSA No.1652 of 2016 before this Court assailing judgments passed by learned Additional Civil Judge, Tarn Taran and learned District Judge, Tarn Taran. 4.
On being confronted with aforesaid fact, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition with liberty to avail remedies as permissible by law.
