G.S.SANDHAWALIA, J. (Oral) The present writ petition has been filed seeking directions to the Government to release the entire pending admitted claims of grant-in-aid arrears up to date (as detailed in Para No.11 of the writ petition) as well as mentioned in legal notice dated 18.03.2015 (Annexure P-2) pertaining to the monthly salaries of the staff of the petitioners. Counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioner-Colleges are private affiliated aided colleges and under the 95% Salary Deficit Grantin-aid Scheme, have complied with the requirements but the State has not reimbursed its dues from March, 2013. Reference has been made to the legal notice dated 18.03.2015 (Annexure P-2) served upon the respondents. Counsel for the petitioners, accordingly, submits that the petitioner will be satisfied if the legal notice dated 18.03.2015 (Annexure P- 2) is processed within a time-bound frame.

After hearing counsel for the petitioners and keeping in view the controversy involved, this Court is of the opinion that notice need not be issued to the respondents since limited relief is being prayed for, at this stage.

Accordingly, without commenting upon the merits of the case the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to take into consideration the legal notice which has been issued by the petitioners dated 18.03.2015 (Annexure P-2) and process the same. The authorized persons of the petitioners shall present themselves before the respondent No.3 along with the necessary documents from 23.02.2016 to 25.02.2016 and the case shall be processed within a period of four weeks thereafter. In case the payment is found due, the same will be made within a period of four weeks thereafter. In case the same is to be denied, then a reasoned order be passed by the said respondent and be conveyed to the petitioners.

With the aforesaid directions, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
