By way of present petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, petitioners are seeking direction to respondents No.1 to 3 to provide protection to their lives and liberty at the hands of private respondents No.4 to 19.

Learned State counsel has filed the status report dated 27.06.2025 in Court today, which is taken on record, subject to all just exceptions. Office to tag the same at appropriate place. A copy thereof has been handed over to the counsel for the petitioners.

Learned State counsel explains that in fact earlier a marriage protection petition was filed by both the petitioners, which was disposed of with a direction to decide the representation, which had already been submitted before the concerned authorities.

Subsequently, petitioner No.2 along with Boota Singh and 7-8 unknown persons entered the house of private respondents and caused JAWALA RAM 2025.07.04 18:58 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

Faced with the situation, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission to withdraw the present petition. 5.
