Complainant, a resident of Village Bishanpura, District Fazilka is aggrieved by grant of interim stay vide order dated 23.2.2015 (P-14) passed by the Special Secretary, Department of Rural Development of Panchayat-respondent no.1, while exercising appellate jurisdiction against the order dated 30.1.2015 (P-11) passed by Director, Panchayati Raj, suspending respondent no.2-Sarpanch from his office, on account of his conviction and a case registered under the RAJINDER PRASHAD JOSHI 2015.05.14 15:41 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court, Chandigarh.

From the reply filed on behalf of Sarpanch/respondent no.2 it is apparent that as of now the appeal filed by the answering respondent-Sarpanch stands dismissed vide order dated 13.5.2015 and thereby the said impugned order P-14 stands stands merged in that order. It is also given out at the time of hearing that regular enquiry for removal of the Sarpanch has also been directed vide order dated 6.5.2015.

In view of the aforesaid developments counsel for the parties are agreed that the present writ petition has become infructuous. Dismissed as infructuous.
