(ORAL) In the present writ petition, the claim which is being raised by the petitioner is that he is entitled for the interest on the delayed payments, which have been released to him in January, 2016 despite the fact that he had retired from service on 16.09.2008. Further, claim of the petitioner is for refund of an amount of `1,60,064/- alongwith interest, which was wrongly deducted from the arrears of the pension. Today, an affidavit has been filed by the respondents, in which, they have stated that the payments with interest have been released to the petitoner and a sum of `1,60,064/- has also been refunded alongwith interest.

CWP-2968-2016 -2As a matter of precaution, learned counsel for the petitioner,, prays that the petitioner be given an opportunity to approach the respondents, in case, any of the benefits for which he was entitled for, is yet to be released, by making an appropriate representation. Learned counsel for the respondents states that if any representation is filed by the petitioner, the same will be disposed of by passing an appropriate speaking order within a period of three months of the receipt of the same.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that keeping in view the above statement, he does not want to press the present writ petition any further and the same may be disposed of, as having not being pressed. Ordered accordingly.
