By this petition, filed under the provisions of Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing respondents no.2 and 3 to protect her lives and liberty, with a further prayer made to direct respondents no.4 to 7 to not interfere in the personal life of the petitioner.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in respect of her grievance, the petitioner has made a representation to the DSP, District Ludhiana (Rural), Raikot, on 06.11.2020 (copy Annexure P-10), but no action is stated to have been taken so far.
Without making any comment on the correctness or otherwise of the contentions raised in the petition, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the SSP (Rural), Ludhiana, to go into the matter and to take action if any is required, as per law, while ensuring of course that the life and liberty of the petitioner is duly protected as per law.
