Prayer is for grant of regular bail in case FIR No.21 dated 04.03.2019 under Sections 324,307,148,149 IPC and Section 25 of the Arms Act registered at P.S Lohian District Jalandhar. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the matter has since been compromised between the parties. A copy of the compromise has been annexed as Annexure P.2.

Learned counsel for the complainant and the injured-Jagdeep Singh have affirmed the compromise.

The petitioner is in custody since July 2019 and the trial of the case may take long time. No useful purpose will be served by keeping the petitioner in custody till the final disposal of the case especially in view of the compromise between them.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the present case; without discussing the facts in minute detail and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this criminal miscellaneous petition is allowed and the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail subject to his furnishing bail bonds and surety bonds to the satisfaction of the trial Court/Duty Magistrate, Jalandhar.
