***** JASPAL SINGH, J (ORAL) By virtue of instant petition preferred under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has sought issuance of a writ, order or direction especially in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to grant and release the pensionary benefits (i.e. gratuity, leave encashment and pension) to the petitioner along with interest @ 18% per annum on delayed payment as per scheme formulated by the Punjab Govt. known as the punjab privately managed recognized aided schools recruitment benefits scheme 2012. 2.

At the very outset of the arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner feels satisfied in case direction is issued to respondents No.3 and 4 to decide representation dated 06.06.2017 (Annexure P-5), within a stipulated period.

CWP No. 24179 OF 2017 --2-- and 4 to look into the grievances unfolded by the petitioner in his representation dated 06.06.2017 (Annexure P-5) and to decide the same, in accordance with law and as per rules, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. If the concerned authorities come to the conclusion that petitioner is entitled to the relief claimed, to make the payment/disburse the amount within a period of next 45 days. 4.

The concerned authorities are also directed to decide the claim with regard to grant of interest on delayed payment in the light of judgment captioned as "R.S. Randhawa vs. State of Punjab, 1997 (3) RSJ 318. 5.

However, if the petitioner still feels aggrieved against the order passed by the concerned authority, he shall be at liberty to approach this Court.
