Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, inter alia, for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari to quash the impugned order dated 12.07.2019 (P-4) passed by respondent No. 2, whereby petitioner was transferred from the Office of Chief Executive Officer, Fish Farming Development Agency, Hariana, Distt. Hoshiarpur to Katli, District Rupnagar.

At the outset, learned counsel, on instructions from petitioner, submits that during pendency of present writ petition, he has retired from service, therefore, present petition be disposed off as having been rendered infructuous.

Ordered accordingly.
