**** SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J (ORAL) This is a petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a direction to respondent Nos.1 to 3 to protect the lives and liberty of the petitioner from the hands of respondent Nos.4 and 5 who are threatening and harassing the petitioner to enter into a compromise. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he will be satisfied in case a direction be issued to respondent No.2 to look into the representation dated 11.07.2024 (Annexure P-3), within a time bound manner.

Without adverting to the merits of the case and in view of the statement made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 (Superintendent of Police, Ambala) to look into the representation dated 11.07.2024 (Annexure P-3) and decide the same in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order. The order so passed shall be communicated to learned counsel for the petitioner within one week thereafter.
