ANIL KSHETARPAL, J (Oral) Ms. Ambika Bedi, Assistant Advocate General, Punjab, on instructions from Mr. Vaneet Sharma, District Development and Panchayat Officer, Sangrur, has submitted that the order appointing an Administrator dated 21.09.2021, already stands withdrawn on 01.11.2021. In view thereof, the present writ petition is practically rendered infructuous. No doubt, the petitioners pray for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondent no.2 to take disciplinary action against respondent no.6.

In the considered view of this Court, the petitioners have more than one remedy for requesting the appointing authority to initiate disciplinary proceedings.

Hence, disposed of.
