RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for directing respondents no.1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from the hands of respondents no.4 to 8. Notice of motion to respondents no.1 to 3-State only. On asking of the Court, Mr.Tarun Aggarwal, Sr.DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents/State and at the outset submits, on instructions of ASI Gurmail Singh, that statement of petitioner No.1-Rahul has been recorded in which he has submitted that there is no threat to them, as alleged in the petition and they are living peacefully.

In view of the above statement made by learned State counsel, nothing survives in the present petition and the same is disposed of as such. July 24, 2024 ( RAJESH BHARDWAJ ) meenuss JUDGE 1.
