Petitioners-mother and son duo, filed the instant petition inter alia seeking a writ of certiorari to quash the order dated 31.10.2017 (P-6) passed by District Magistrate,Kapurthala,whereby they have been ordered to be evicted from the house of Sudarshan Kumar Sharma-father in law of petitioner no.1 and grandfather of petitioner no.2 on an application made by Sudarshan Kumar Sharma under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act,2007.

After arguing for sometime and having failed to convince the Court,learned counsel seeks permission to withdraw the petition. Dismissed as withdrawn.
