This Criminal Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for giving directions to respondent No. 2 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and his family from the hands of Respondent No.3 and 4 who are bent upon to harass and threaten the petitioner and his family to involve them in false cases as earlier the petitioner was involved in FIR 08 dated 09.01.2026 PS Division No.1, Pathankot U/s 109, 115(2), 351(2), 281, 324(4), 191(3), 190, 249 of BNS (Section 307, 323, 506, 279, 427, 148, 149 & 212 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 respectively) in which he was granted anticipatory bail by the Ld. Trial Court appreciating the evidence on record in the form of a CD containing the CCTV footage showing non involvement of the petitioner who was not present at the spot and now again the police intend to implicate the petitioner in a false case and are raiding the house of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the petitioners have preferred a representation dated 17.02.2026 Annexure P-1 to respondent No.2- Senior Superintendent of Police, Pathankot, Punjab but no action has been taken so far. Learned counsel submits that he would be satisfied if directions are issued to respondent respondent No.2- Senior Superintendent of Police, Pathankot, Punjab to look into his representation and take appropriate steps at the earliest. 3.
Notice of motion to the official respondents. 4.
At the asking of the Court, Mr. P.S.Pandher, Asstt.AG Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the official respondents. 5.
I have heard learned counsel for the parties. 6.
Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and the prayer made by the petitioners, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2- Senior Superintendent of Police, Pathankot, Punjab to consider and decide the representation dated 17.02.2026 Annexure P-1 of the petitioners in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and pass an appropriate order.
