**** ANUPINDER SINGH GREWAL, J (ORAL) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that she is confining the prayer in this petition to the protection of the life and liberty of the petitioner. She further submits that the petitioner is running a furniture shop and there was a quarrel between him and his neighbour, who is also running a furniture shop and has been impleaded as respondent No.4. She has referred to the photographs to indicate that there was an altercation between the parties on an earlier occasion. Issue notice to the respondents No.1 to 3 only. At the asking of the Court, Mr. Luvinder Sofat, DAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3.

Heard. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to look into the matter and take steps, if necessary, in accordance with law to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner.
