Learned counsel for the State has filed custody certificate dated 03.10.2023, which is taken on record, as per which the petitioner has been in custody as an undertrial for a period of 06 months and 24 days.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition, at this stage.
