(ORAL) After arguing for a while, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the instant petition while submitting that so far as the relief sought by the petitioner qua the issuance of the direction to the official respondents to decide her representation Annexure P-6 and to register the FIR against respondents No.4 and 7 is concerned, she (petitioner) would be availing the alternative, appropriate and efficacious remedy, as may be permissible to her under law, for this purpose and as regards her prayer to direct the official respondents to protect her life and liberty, she would be moving a fresh representation to respondent No.2Senior Superintendent of Police, Nawanshahar, District Shaheed Bhagat NEETU RANI 2021.11.24 12:24 I attest to the accuracy of this order PHHC

Singh Nagar, exclusively praying therein for the said protection only and he further prays that respondent No.2 be directed to look into and take appropriate action on the fresh representation of the petitioner within some specific time frame.

Learned State counsel as well as learned counsel for respondents No.4 to 7 have no objection to the above-discussed submission as well as the prayer of learned counsel for the petitioner. Resultantly, the petition in hand stands dismissed for having been withdrawn with a direction to respondent No.2 that in case, the petitioner moves any fresh representation to him restricting her prayer therein to the protection of her life and liberty only, he shall look into the same and if the petitioner would be found to be genuinely deserving the said protection, then he shall take appropriate action strictly in accordance with law, in the given set of the facts and circumstances of the matter, preferably within a period of two weeks.
