(Oral) Petitioner has posed a challenge to assessment order dated 19.09.2014, Annexure P-4 and assessment notice dated 19.9.2014, Annexure P-5m whereby demand for a sum of Rs.9,85,926/- has been raised on him. He has challenged the same on various grounds. A representation dated 22.12.2014, Annexure P-6, has also been filed before the concerned authority. He submits that he shall be satisfied, in case, the said representation is decided at the earliest.
Under the circumstances, petition is disposed of with a direction that the competent authority shall decide the representation, Annexure P-6, at the earliest, in any case, not later than 03 months. Personal hearing may be afforded to the petitioner. Till then, assessment orders shall not be given effect to as the petitioner has already deposited 15% of the amount in terms of order dated March 09, 2015 passed by this court.
