Petitioner has filed this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to consider his case for appointment on compassionate grounds.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that petitioner had served notice (Annexure P-3) to respondent No.1 for redressal of his grievance but no action has been taken on the same so far.

Accordingly, without adverting to the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.1 to dispose of the notice (Annexure P-3) expeditiously, in accordance with law, preferably within two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
