(Oral) Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 482, BNSS is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 164 dated 10.05.2026 registered under Sections 61/4/2020 of the Punjab Excise Act, 1914 (haryana Amendment Bill, 2020) at Police Station Jind City, District Jind.

This Court, vide order dated 27.05.2026, had directed the petitioner to appear before the SHO/Investigating Officer and join investigation and in the event of his arrest, he was ordered to be released on interim bail to the satisfaction of the SHO/Investigating Officer, subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 482(2) of the BNSS (erstwhile Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.) 3.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in compliance of the order dated 27.05.2026 passed by this Court, the petitioner has joined and cooperated with the investigation.

In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, the petition is allowed and the interim order dated 27.05.2026 is made absolute. The petitioner shall continue to join investigation, as and when called by the Investigating Officer and shall also abide by the conditions as provided under Section 482(2) of the BNSS.
