This is a petition filed under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 124 dated 25.05.2025 under Sections 105 BNS, 2023 registered at Police Station Canal Colony, District Bathinda.

This Court, vide order dated 12.06.2025, had directed the petitioner to appear before the SHO/Investigating Officer and join investigation and in the event of his arrest, he was ordered to be released on ad-interim bail to the satisfaction of the SHO/Investigating Officer, subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 482(2) of the BNSS (erstwhile Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.).

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in compliance of the order dated 12.06.2025 passed by this Court, the petitioner has joined and cooperated with the investigation.

CRM-M-32020-2025 He has submitted the short reply by way of an affidavit of Deputy Superintendent of Police, City-1, Bathinda dated 21.07.2025, which is taken on record.

In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, the petition is allowed and the interim order dated 12.06.2025 is made absolute. The petitioner shall continue to join investigation, as and when called by the Investigating Officer and shall also abide by the conditions as provided under Section 482(2) of the BNSS.
