Learned counsel for the petitioner argues that the petitioner was entitled for the grant of 3rd ACP Scale on completion of 24 years of regular service, which service, the petitioner completed on 22.02.2019 but the said benefit has not been extended to the petitioner without any valid justification. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the respondents be directed to grant the said benefit to the petitioner forthwith. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the grievance which has been raised in the present petition has already been raised before the respondents in the legal notice served on 20.04.2022, a copy of which has been appended as Annexure P.2 which is still pending consideration of the respondents and the petitioner will be satisfied at this stage, in case time bound direction is issued to respondent No.2 to decide the same by passing an appropriate speaking order in a time bound manner.
