Dated Police Station Sections 02.05.2023 Vigilance Bureau, Flying Squad-I, Mohali 409, 420, 465, 466, 468, 471, 120-B IPC and 13(1)(a), 13(2) of Prevention of Corruption Act 1988 as amended by Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Act 2018) and Section 201 IPC added vide order dated 31.08.2023.

The petitioner incarcerated in the FIR captioned above, has come up before this Court under Section 439 CrPC seeking bail.

Vide order dated 31.08.2023, the petitioner was granted interim bail subject to comply with some conditions.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that in compliance to the order dated 31.08.2023, affidavits have been handed over to the State counsel. He further submits that petitioner's assets are massive and now he has voluntarily decided to deposit the entire compensation amount, therefore seeks 15 days time. 4.

Given the candid stand of the petitioner, petitioner is directed to deposit the entire compensation amount by 30.09.2023. It is clarified that although the affidavits have been handed over to the State but after deposit of the compensation amount, the ANJU RANI 2023.09.12 10:29 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

It is further clarified that since the offer of returning the entire compensation amount is voluntary and given the massive assets the petitioner holds, it is clarified that in case, the petitioner fails to deposit the entire compensation till 30.09.2023, this order as well as the previous bail order dated 31.08.2023, shall stand recalled without any further reference to this Court. 5.
