Learned counsel for the State, at the outset, has opposed the prayer made by the counsel opposite for extending the concession of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. It has been submitted by the learned State counsel, on instructions, that the petitioner is a man of criminal antecedents and during the pendency of the instant petition, he stands arrested in another criminal case.

In view of the instructions received by the learned State counsel, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press the instant petition.
