AMIT RAWAL J. (Oral) Prayer in present writ petition is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondent no.1 to consider the claim of petitioners for promoting them to the post of Assistant Agriculture Engineers according to inter se seniority/length of service. Notice of motion.

On asking of Court, Mr.R.K.Doon, Assistant Advocate General, Haryana, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of respondents/State.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of petitioners submits that petitioners, at this stage, would be satisfied if a direction is issued to respondent no.2 to consider and decide the representation dated 09.08.2018 (Annexure P-2) within some specified time.

CWP No.22702 of 2018 {2} In view of statement made by learned counsel for the petitioners and without going into merit of case or commenting thereon, present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent no.2 to decide the representation dated 09.08.2018 (Annexure P-2) by passing a well reasoned and speaking order within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. Dehor of the fact that petitioner no.2 has retired.

In case, representation is not decided within aforementioned specified time, there shall be costs of Rs.25,000/- to be paid by the concerned officer to the petitioners.
