The petitioner wants her eligibility to be determined on the basis of her alleged changed name which she did after her marriage. Since petitioner's name in the academic certificate is different than what is claimed by her and the Gram Panchayat elections are scheduled to be held on 10.01.2016, it is not possible either for this Court or for the authorities to determine such question of fact. However, we dispose of the writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to raise this plea in the Election Petition, if so advised.

Needless to say that the Election Tribunal shall be obligated to decide such petition expeditiously. (3)
