Through instant petition preferred under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has sought issuance of a writ especially in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to grant amount of Rs.6 lacs as ex-gratia amount in terms of scheme of respondent-bank (P-2). 2.

At the very outset of the arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though petitioner served legal notice dated 25.11.2017 (P-3) upon the respondents but till date neither any response has been received nor any conscious decision has been taken. He further submits that petitioner feels satisfied in case direction is issued to respondent No.2 to take conscious decision on legal notice (P-3) within a stipulated period. 3.
