(Oral) Seeking appropriate directions to the official respondents No.2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and not to interfere in her life at the behest of respondents No.4 to 10 and other relatives with a further prayer to decide the representation dated 23.05.2026 (Annexure P-2) sent by the petitioner to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Fazilka, District Fazilka, as per law the instant petition has been filed. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that, at this juncture, the petitioner would be satisfied in case directions are issued to the competent authority to decide the aforesaid representation in a time bound manner.
Notice of motion restricted to respondents No.1 to 3 only, at this stage.

-2CRWP-6456-2026 (O&M) DAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3. Mr. Ranbir Singh Sekhon, Advocate, enters appearance and files memo of appearance on behalf of respondent No.4. He contends that respondent No.4-Surjit Singh is husband of the petitioner herein and it is only a matrimonial dispute. He has no objection if appropriate directions are issued to decide the representation dated 23.05.2026, as per law, however, respondent No.4 may also be heard.
In view of above, the present petition is disposed of with directions to respondent No.3-Station House Officer, Police Station Ghubaya, District Fazilka, to look into the grievances of the petitioner as set out in the petition and also expressed in the representation dated 23.05.2026 (Annexure P-2) and decide the same in accordance with law within a period of two months after the receipt of a certified copy of this order. The Registry is directed to send a copy of this order along with copy of the petition and above-said representation to respondent No.3Station House Officer, Police Station Ghubaya, District Fazilka, for requisite compliance.
The petition is disposed of.
