The petitioner has approached this Court seeking appointment to a suitable post on compassionate grounds on account of the death of her father, who died in harness, while serving the respondent-Corporation as an Assistant Lineman.

C. W. P. No. 4155 of 2015 2 application has been taken in spite of the passage of several years. After going through the record of the case and the arguments advanced at the bar, I am of the opinion that at this stage, the writ petition can be disposed of with a direction to respondent no. 2 to take a final decision on the application moved by the petitioner seeking compassionate appointment on account of the death of her late father. The needful be done within three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order and the decision so taken be conveyed to the petitioner.
