Mr. Nitesh Singhi, Advocate, for the petitioner.

G.S.SANDHAWALIA, J. (Oral) The petitioner prays for the differential amount of `1,21,018/- which is liable to be paid to him on account of the wrong calculation made by the respondents. Interest is also demanded on the amount of the delayed payment.

Counsel submits that representation dated 02.09.2015 (Annexure P-10) has already been served upon respondents no. 2 to 4 wherein, the demand has been made on account of the increments in the arrears of pay fixed which had to be given in 3 installments. It is accordingly contended that a wrong amount had been calculated and the petitioner was entitled for `3,32,301/- instead of `2,11,283/- and resultantly, the claim of `1,21,018/- is made.

Counsel submits that he would be satisfied if the representation dated 02.09.2015 (Annexure P-10) is decided within a time bound frame. Notice of motion.

CWP No. 3320 of 2016 respondents. Copy of the writ petition has been supplied to him in Court. Keeping in view the limited relief sought, this Court is of the opinion that there is no need for the respondents to file reply. Accordingly, without commenting on the merits of the case the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent no. 2 to take a decision on the representation dated 02.09.2015 (Annexure P-10) within a period of 2 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order. Needless to say if the relief is to be denied, a reasoned order be passed and conveyed to the petitioner.
