JUSTICE SANDEEP MOUDGIL Present: Mr. Onkar Singh Batalvi, Advocate, for the petitioner --- SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J (ORAL) This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C./Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking direction to the official respondents not to harass and humiliate the petitioner, who is suffering from chronic disease, by calling him for inquiries in a complaint made by the private respondent, in which he has already been declared innocent in first inquiry. The said complaint was a counter blast to FIR No.6 dated 6.1.2023, registered against the son of private respondent. There is a civil dispute regarding some land between the petitioner and the private respondent. Further, direction is sought to the official respondents to file the status report regarding the proceedings done in the aforesaid complaint. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he will be satisfied in case a direction be issued to respondent No.2/Director General of Police, Punjab Police Headquarthers, Chandigarh, to look into the Ashwani Kumar 2024.07.30 18:59 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

In view of the above, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2/ Director General of Police, Punjab Police Headquarthers, Chandigarh, to look into the representation dated 10.6.2024 (Annexure P-6) and decide the same in accordance with law within a period of four weeks by passing a speaking order. The order so passed shall be communicated to the petitioner within one week thereafter.
