Prayer in this writ petition is for directing respondent No. 2 to conduct the interview of the petitioners being fully eligible for the post of PGT (Physics) as they were not allowed to participate in interview process held on 05.09.2018.

Petitioners were directed to be interviewed provisionally vide order dated 07.09.2018 passed in this writ petition subject to decision of the same with the result being kept in a sealed cover.

Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from Sh. Sukhwinder, ADA, Haryana Staff Selection Commission, informs that petitioner No. 2 is reflected as selected in the revised result and petitioner No. 1 has secured 112 marks whereas the last selected candidate has secured 118 marks. Learned counsel for the petitioners does not deny that this petition is rendered infructuous qua petitioner No. 2. CWP-22763-2018 (O&M) -2Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioner No. 1 may have a chance to be kept in the waiting list, however, neither learned counsel for the petitioners nor the State has requisite information regarding the marks secured by the candidate last selected in the waiting list. Be that as it may, in case, petitioner No. 1 is entitled to be placed in the waiting list, liberty is afforded to her to represent before the authorities in this respect within a period of one week from receipt of certified copy of this order. Such representation, if submitted, be considered by the competent authority within three weeks thereafter and necessary action be taken thereon. Writ petition is disposed of, accordingly.
