RAMESHWAR SINGH MALIK, J Feeling aggrieved against the alleged inaction on the part of respondent authorities, petitioner has approached this court by way of instant petition, under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ in the nature of Mandamus.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he does not intend to press this petition for a writ in the nature of Certiorari, for the time being. He further submits that petitioner will be satisfied if respondent no.3 is directed to consider and decide his representation dated 3.7.2014, Annexure P-3, within a reasonable time. He also submits that petitioner may be permitted to supplement his representation dated 3.7.2014. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, including the issue of limitation, if any, District and Sessions Judge, Patiala-respondent no.3 is directed to look into the matter, consider the grievance of the petitioner, raised GREESH SAHNI 2015.01.08 13:40 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

CWP No.42 of 2015 vide his representation dated 3.7.2014 (Annexure P-3) and decide the same at an early date, by passing an appropriate order thereon, strictly in accordance with law, but in any case within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.

Petitioner shall also be permitted to supplement his already pending representation dated 3.7.2014 (Annexure P-3), in case he so desires, but only within a period of four weeks from today. With the observations made above, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
