Present writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the orders including one dated 29.07.2021 (P-3), whereby juniors to petitioner have been promoted as Senior Medical Officers. At the outset, learned counsel on instructions from petitioner submits that instead of pressing the present petition on merits, his client would be satisfied in case the representation dated 14.07.2022 (P-6) is decided expeditiously.
Notice of motion qua respondent Nos. 1 to 3 only to the aforesaid limited extent.
On asking of the Court, Ms. Lavanya Paul, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State and raises no objection against the innocuous prayer of the petitioner.
