The prayer made in the present Criminal Writ Petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of a direction to respondent Nos.2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner as he is apprehending danger to his life and liberty at the hands of respondent Nos.4 to 9 with a further prayer to take action against respondent Nos.4 to 9, who are interfering in his established possession and business in spite of the orders passed by the Civil Court.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has contended that despite there being an order in his favour from the Civil Court, the private respondents are threatening him with dire consequences. Notice of motion.

CRWP No.9538 of 2020 - 2Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI-Sarwan Kumar, has stated that the petitioner has been called a number of times to come and substantiate the complaints/representations made by him. However, he has not visited the concerned officer. Faced with the same, learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner is willing to visit the concerned officer, provided there is no threat to his life and liberty.
In view of the above, the present petition is disposed off with a direction to the petitioner to visit the office of respondent No.3 and substantiate his complaint/grievances within ten days from today. In the meanwhile, respondent No.2 shall ensure that the life and liberty of the petitioner is not endangered.
