(ORAL) In the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking interest from 2009 till 2015 when all the payments for which he was entitled for was made by the respondent(s)-State, after an inordinate delay. The matter is pending in this Court for the last more than 21⁄2 years and reply is yet to be filed.

At this stage, counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner will be satisfied in case a direction is given to the respondents to decide his representation dated 02.11.2015 (Annexure P-6), which has been made by the petitioner seeking the same benefit for which the writ petition has been filed, in a time bound manner. Counsel for the respondent(s)-State has no objection for the grant of the said relief.

CWP-3411-2016 -2Keeping in view the above, the competent authority is directed to pass the appropriate orders on the representation dated 02.11.2015 (Annexure P-6) within in a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. In case it is found that the petitioner is entitled for any monetary benefits on account of interest for the delayed payment, the same shall be released to him within a further period of three months. However, it is made clear that this Court express no opinion on the merits of the case and entitlement of the petitioner at this stage.

Present writ petition stands disposed of.
