The petitioner alleges that Gram Panchayat land comprising in Khasra No.44/6 and 45/8, which is reserved for common purpose (toilets), has been encroached upon by the private respondents. He seeks a direction to the authorities for their eviction.
[2] Since the petitioner has got an alternative remedy to file an eviction petition under Section 7 of the Punjab Village Common Lands (Regulation) Act, 1961, as applicable to State of Haryana, we deem it appropriate to dispose of this writ petition with a direction to respondent Nos.2 to 4 to ascertain the allegations made by the petitioner and take necessary remedial action in accordance with law.
