*** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI, J. (ORAL) As the petitioner has already participated in the selection process under the orders of this Court, provisional result has been brought to this Court by the respondents so as to ascertain whether the question of law raised in the present petition survives or the same has been rendered academic. Provisional result of the petitioner has been opened and the last selected candidate in the category in which the petitioner is competing has obtained 82 marks whereas the petitioner has not been able to secure same marks so as to come into the zone of selection and consequent appointment. Faced with the situation, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present petition may be disposed of as having been not pressed any further.

Ordered accordingly.
