(Oral) The prayer in the present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for quashing of FIR No.223 dated 30.11.2012 under Sections 341, 186, 323, 149 IPC and Section 3 of the Punjab Prevention of Defacement Property Ordinance Act, registered with Police Station Dera Bassi, SAS Nagar, Punjab (Annexure P-1) and the proclamation order dated 05.10.2016 (Annexure P-3) passed by the Trial Court.

The learned counsel for the petitioner contends that since the co-accused of the petitioner have been acquitted, the present petition may be allowed and the aforementioned FIR and the proclamation order dated 05.10.2016 be quashed.

I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. The petitioner was absconding and was declared a proclaimed offender at an earlier stage. Pursuant thereto he has surrendered and has since been granted regular bail.

Since the trial qua the co-accused has concluded, the Trial Court is directed to conclude the trial against petitioner within three months from the next date fixed before it.
