**** SANJAY VASHISTH , J. (Oral) Prayer in this petition, filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, who has been booked for having committed the offences punishable under Section 379 of IPC (Sections 411 & 34 of IPC added later on), in a case arising out of FIR No.32, dated 12.02.2022, registered at Police Station City Samana, District Patiala.
Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that in compliance of the order dated 29.08.2022, passed by this Court, petitioner has joined investigation and fully cooperated with the investigating agency. Learned counsel for the State on instructions from ASI Puran Singh, confirms the said averment and submits that the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not required for the purpose of investigation. Heard learned counsel for the parties.
