This petition has been filed for seeking a direction to the official respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner from the hands of private respondents (arrayed in the petition) as they are harassing her and have been forcing her to marry a person of their choice. 2.

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has filed a representation dated 8.6.2025 (Annexure P-2) before respondent No. 2 raising her grievances as mentioned in the present petition but the same has not yet been considered and no action has been taken thereupon. He further submits that at this stage, the petitioner would be satisfied if, appropriate directions are issued to respondent No. 2, to consider and decide the aforesaid representation filed by the petitioner and take necessary action thereupon. 3.

Notice of motion to the official respondents only. 4.

In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner and without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of at this stage with a direction to respondent No. 2 to consider and decide the aforesaid representation dated 8.6.2025 (Annexure P-2) of the petitioner expeditiously, by passing a speaking order in accordance with law. 6.

Needless to say, if any threat perception is found to the petitioner, the official respondents would provide her adequate security in order to protect her life and liberty.

Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, also stands disposed of.
