Petitioner by way of present writ petition is challenging order dated 06.02.2007 whereby stoppage of three increments with permanent effect has been ordered against the petitioner. On the complaint of D.S.P, petitioner was suspended from service, vide order dated 05.04.2006 and enquiry was conducted against the petitioner and he was found guilty. Petitioner preferred an appeal against the above said order before respondent No. 3 which was dismissed on 07.09.2006 (P-2). Petitioner then filed revision petition before respondent No. 2, who partly accepted the appeal vide order dated 06.02.2007 and reduced the punishment of dismissal of service to the stoppage of three increments with permanent effect. CWP No. 3457 of 2016 -2Petitioner is now challenging the above said order after a gap of almost 08 years and he kept mum for so long. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed being hopelessly time barred and further the above said order has now attained finality.
