CRM-M-42258-2021 -1IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT CHANDIGARH CRM-M-42258-2021 Date of Decision:October 07, 2021 Karamjit Singh .....Petitioner

Versus

State of Punjab ......Respondents CORAM: HON'BLE MR.JUSTICE RAJESH BHARDWAJ

Present:

Mr.Jasvir Singh Dhaliwal,Advocate for the petitioner.

Mr.M.S.Nagra, Assistant Advocate General, Punjab. Mr.Krishan Singh, Advocate for the complainant. ........

RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.

This is the second petition filed by the petitioner praying for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.46, dated 04.09.2021, under Sections 376, 451, 506 IPC, registered at Police Station Dhramgarh, District Sangrur.

At the outset, it is found that the first petition filed by the petitioner was dismissed by this Court vide order dated 28.09.2021. However, the petitioner has filed the present petition on the ground that the petitioner has entered into a compromise with the complainant and hence, he deserves to be enlarged on anticipatory bail. Looking into the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is facing the allegations of heinous offence. Even if the contention of the petitioner is assumed to be correct that he has entered into a compromise with the complainant, the same is of no consequence as the MEENU 2021.10.29 02:12 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M-42258-2021 -2same is totally irrelevant in case of heinous offence/crimes. In view of the above facts, the petition being devoid of any merit, is hereby dismissed.
