(ORAL) The petitioner has filed this petition praying for a direction to respondent No. 2 - Punjab School Education Board for taking steps to conduct the additional/supplementary examination in the subject of Biology for class 10+2, as passing the same is mandatory eligibility requirement for getting admission in a medical college on the basis of score obtained in NEET (UG) exam.

The petitioner has approached the respondent - Board by filing a representation dated 04.10.2021 (Annexure P-3) which has been ignored by them.

In the circumstances and looking to the prevailing situation and the law governing the same, we think it appropriate to dispose of the petition directing the respondents to look into the grievance of the petitioner and take a decision on his representation dated 04.10.2021 (Annexure P-3) expeditiously in accordance with law.
